In January 2025, Peacock Books & Wildlife Art relocated to Hillcrest Shopping Center.

Along with expanded hours, we've made room for signed books, First Editions, personalized books, exclusive books.

The largest space yet for the almost eight-year-old brand, one that has expanded every couple years and has been in continously operation, excluding a four month government mandated closure to the retail sales.

The publishing house has never shut down so the non-public operations allowed for a generous time block to create more books.

Loucks-Christenson remains busy creating recipes and shooting the images for the first cook book in the bistro series (more below).

The bookstore has room to sell over 25,000 new & used books, DVDs, gift items, jewelry, and more.

Author book signings are partially booked for Summer and fall 2025.

Peacock Books & Wildlife  showcases Lisa Loucks-Christenson's permanent and rotating exhibits, some of her Bald eagle footage plays on the televisions, along with her award-winning art.

Lisa Loucks-Christenson's, Peacock Books & Bistro division,  moved back into its former publisher production kitchen where Loucks-Christenson makes and shoots her food items for her publishing house and worldwide clients.

Loucks-Christenson sells over 28 personalized children's books about nature, the environment, friendship, a new baby, the first day at scool, adventure stories; including seven children's cook books through her Story Antics(R) imprint.

Under another imprint, Entrée  Press, Loucks-Christenson publishes over 14 cookbooks through her "Only" series that uncludes: "Only Chicken," "Only Chicken Breasts," "Only Wings,"Only Spicy Wings," as well as cook books on preparing beef, pork, side dishes, deviled eggs and pheasants.

In-progress now are her how-to books on making candy, fudge, snacks, and baked goods.

Loucks-Christenson's culinary background includes working in over a dozen restaurants, owning four herself with her husband. She's spent 40-years shooting, propping, designing sets and taable settings asas her own food stylist. She's shot food photos for Self Magazine, Esquire, Woman's World, restaurants, businesses, newspapers, and book publishers worldwide.

Her husband helps with cooking, recipe testing, and she shoots the step-by-step photography.

Moving the food photography and cooking back to her private studio and production kitchen helps streamline her entire publishing operation.

Running the Bistro in the Peace Plaza gave her the opportunity to feed the homeless and create a documentary on their lives, "Heaven Is My Home," will release it the future.

Her private kitchen studio offers Loucks-Christenson the space and outdoor backgrounds needed for her environment and farm-to-table books, published through green-N-fresh Blockchain Publishing, a division of Lisa Loucks-Christenson Publishing.

The Lisa Loucks-Christenson Publishing House, licenses Lisa's original photos and illustrations, and exclusive content to other publishers.
